Anneli and Christian dropped Vincent off at around 11 am today and then they left to do some shopping for their new house.
Vincent and I started with some lunch. Vincent had Salmon in Dill sauce which he ate pretty much without protest. Afterwards he had half a banana which really made his meal. He more or less engulfed the banana, but kept some of it in his mouth, which he then chewed on for half an hour. Bananas are for Vincent, apparently.
After lunch Vincent had a proper monster poop which reaked and filled the entire apartment. He continued to squeeze a couple of times more, so I had to wait a couple of minutes before I dared to change him. Didn’t want anything to come half way through. Yuk!
After the in-take and the out-take we got dressed and headed to the park. We have a very nice play ground here in Majorna where there are some play things and a sand box, usually filled with lots of kids. It was the same today as well.
We didn’t bring any toys with us but there were plenty laying around so we just borrowed some. Vincent really seemed to like it. He didn’t understand what to do with any of the toys though, but happily carried them around. He also ate some sand and tried his best to interact with the other children. We spent an hour at the park before heading back.
On our way to the play ground I saw a café selling pancakes with jam and whipped cream. So on our way back home we had short stop there. Vincent didn’t much care for the whipped cream and jam and had his pancake plain. I guess it’s easier for him to hold on to it that way.
When we got home I figured Vincent was going to be tired, I knew I was. But no, he kept walking around making a proper mess of everything here. Talking loudly as he whirled around. I was laying on the bed trying to get him to come and lay next to me, but no such luck.
It took around an hour of him playing around and pushinc and lifting everything that could be moved before he finally fell and started to cry. A sure sign of him being tired. I simply picked him up, put him in bed, and gave him his pacifier. I layed down next to him and he was already asleep. I fell asleep as well.
Anneli and Christian came an hour later and we had some cake and tea. Vincent was whinging a bit but once a banana was presented he was happy again.
