Miranda Cordelia is finally here! She arrived at 11:33 on the first day of 2012. She’s amazing and we’re enjoying every minute of her.

Happy Christmas to all! We’ve had a lovely Christmas so far. Best part watching Noemi enjoy herself. When Father Christmas came, she did exclaim “Dad why are you dressed up as Santa?”… We tried to convience her dad was out throwing the trash… not sure she believed us… Otherwise we’ve been a little nervous for the baby to arrive today, as it was really due yesterday. Luckily nothing happened today and the baby will have it’s own day, not having to share it with the celebrations of Christmas Eve…

Christmas Day was according to tradition spent at my parents house. Very cozy, especially since they’ve just installed a fireplace in the living room. However, Noemi developed a bit of a fever during the evening, so she wasn’t quite her energetic self. She actually by own will sat still in the sofa with Opehelia and watched a little tv. Since she wasn’t feeling entirely well we made it an early evening.

We celebrated a cozy Christmas Eve together with Sylvia, Ing-Maj and Dominque. Noemi really enjoyed her Christmas gifts and had no problem removing the wrapping paper at all. Last year she was a little skeptical of Santa but this year he got both a kiss and a hug haha!! Merry Christmas to everyone with love from The Löfman’s!!

Midsummer

Yesterday we celebrated a lovely Midsummer’s Eve with our friends Sofia & Mattias and Elin & Peter and there little Victor nine months.  First we had traditional lunch on our patio in the sunshine. Then we all walked over to Slottskogen for some traditional dancing and for a little pick-nick. Noemi enjoyed this very much and got super excited and was running all over the place. The back to our place for a very tasty BBQ with so much food we could have invited half the neighborhood… Finally we rounded the day off with a strawberry meringue cake, yum!

Midsummer’s Day we took the first half of the day very easy, breakfast on the patio and then we all took a rest. In the afternoon we visited Peter’s dad and Kicki and Noemi very much enjoyed playing with the dogs and the garden hose watering the flowers and herself!
