Chris and Orsi came for the weekend and visit us. They arrived on friday, just after lunch, so I had the day off and picked them up at the airport.
We hadn’t seen Chris in, I think, more than 2 years. We were supposed to go visit him when Chiquita got pregnant but since she was so sick in the beginning we had to cancel.
On friday, which for some strange reason had really good weather, we just took a stroll up Linnégatan, back to Haga and then around back to Järntorget and Andra Långgatan via Feskekyrkan. In the evening we went for after work at La Sombrita. We finished off the night by me live translating our film of our Australian vacation (as a bonus I even translated the English speaking parts).
Saturday was proper Gothenburgian weather, meaning rain and windy and grey, so we went to Nordstan and then walked to Gothia Towers to have the shrimp sandwich, lovely!
Mattias and Sofia joined us for dinner and I made the typically Swedish 80′s dish, Flygande Jakob. They seemed to enjoy it.
I drove them to airport just after 10 am today.
We really liked having Chris and Orsi around because they are super nice and we hope to seem them again soon. Either here in Sweden or, hopefully someday, in The Netherlands.Noemi also liked them very much and enjoyed all the attention she got. It was a lovely weekend!
