Back from Stockholm
My Stockholm trip was good but exhausting! Day 1 and 2 of the course were great and I feel more confident in many areas of Amadeus. However day three was not as great, as there was too little time left for the most difficult areas…
I managed to combine business with pleasure and spent Tuesday night with Suzana, Dan and Jack. Of course it was great to catch up and little Jack was charming as always! On Wednesday evening I ate dinner with Sofia Rånge and Sofia Frentz at a very nice Italian resturant, great to catch up with them too. I even got to see Lina for a few minutes, when see dropped by after dinner to say hi.
Course in Stockholm
Tomorrow morning I’m leaving on the very early 6 o’clock train for Stockholm for a three day course in the flight booking system Amadeus. Tomorrow evening I will be staying at Suzanas house. I’m looking much forward to this because I havn’t seen Suzana, Dan or Jack for some time. I can only imagine how much Jack must have grown since I last saw him… Then on Wednesday night, after my course, I’ll be meeting up with Sofia Rånge and Sofia Frentz (who funnily enough also is in Stockholm for a course!) for dinner. Lina will maybe (hopefully!) be joining us. Wish me luck on my course!
A sunday shopping spree
We went to town today. We were going to start with breafast but ended up shopping a shower curtain and lots of towels and Hemtex. They had a sale. Now our bathroom has grey as its primary colour. Then we had breakfast at Café Brulé, which was so so.
The main reason for us going to town was to check out H&M. Chiquita had recieved a voucher for 20 percent discount for this sunday only. We ended up bying for almost half each. I bought a nice long jacket and two pairs of trousers and Chiquita bought a jacket and a top and some shorts.
It was a good day for shop-o-holics! 😉
A lazy morning
I woke up around 8am which I normally do (on the weekend). It doesn’t really matter what I have been doing the day before. My internal clock says it’s eight, and apparently my internal clock feels this is when I must wake up. Recent years it has only been a couple or more times that I have slept till, say 10am.
Anyway, I got up and started playing with my computer, browsing the Internet. Keeping up to date with current events and such. Didn’t want to start programming since Chiquita seemed a little tired (and the computer is close to the bed). So listened to music and browsed the web.
After a couple of hours Chiquita started to wake up so I prepared her breakfast in bed (egg sandwich and juice, which is what she wanted). We stayed in bed all morning eating our breakfast and watching Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (which was very watchable, but then again I like Marvel). An absolutely wonderful morning.
Now we have showered and are on our way. We do not really now what we are going to do but I am sure it’s gonna be great. 🙂
