Well, I don’t think so. But, everytime we visit he seems to. 🙂

Gail’s birthday party
We celebrated Gail this saturday. They had prepared a feast with grilled lamb and wine from Pampas, Argentina. My mother was also with us. The weather was fine, slightly chilly but the sun was out. We had some drinks and nibblies for starters, I had Bloody Mary which I like very much (plenty of tabasco in it, of course).
Christer then grilled a nice piece of lamb fillet (or perhaps lamb steak, I don’t know which one) which was absolutely delicious! We had it Argentinian style which means you drench it with garlic butter, and it was so good. It waters my mouth just writing this. With the lamb we had red wine from Pampas to further contribute to the Argentinian style.
After dinner we had a lovely swiss roll with whipped cream and raspberries. A wonderful way to top things off with.
Today is Gail’s birthday. Happy birthday Gail! :cake:
Chiquita’s birthday
We had cake and Cava before heading to La Sombrita. Anneli and Vincent showed up, which was wonderful. Chiquita got a skirt, and Escada perfume and beach bag from me. Gift vouchers for H&M from my mother and Anna, as well as from Dominique. She also got a very nice scale from her parents. I’m afraid to stand on it, perhaps I’ll break it.
We had a lovely dinner at La Sombrita. There were a lot of people there, even though the weather was so so. We got a nice table outside (under a roof) with heaters on – felt like being abroad. We took a couple of tapas and then the main course – I had lamb and Chiquita had some grilled skewers. It was lovely! And I got to meet my old pal Miguel!
Here are some photos of Chiquita’s wonderful day!
Party with Elin and Alex
Yesterday was the first time we bbqed this year. Really pathetic! Usually we bbq almost once a week but this year there just havn’t been the weather for it. Elin and Alex came by and we cooked up a storm (don’t exactly know what this expression mean, but it sounds good). Elin and brought along Victor, her mother’s dog.
The dinner was great and then we had amongst other things marshmallows for desert. We also had lots and lots of wine, beer, and coctails. Needless to say I am writing this with a very heavy head. 😉
Transporting Ceasar to Anna’s
We helped my mother transport Ceasar (her cat) to Anna’s yesterday. He is a real coward, very afraid of the open. But we managed to get him there safe and sound. Anna is going to have him at her house for a while. I wonder what Leah will think?
Dominique (Chiquita’s sister) was also with us, as you can see in the pictures below. This was really the first time I got to see the grumpy side of Leah, she is cute even when grumpy. 🙂
I just realised that we didn’t get the chance to get a picture of Ceasar, he was hiding under the bed the whole time once we got to Anna’s.
