For Noemi swimming above the surface doesn’t exist yet, so it is more learning diving. This Sunday she dove/swam between Chiquita and me and then from me to Chiquita. It was very exciting, and a little nerve wrecking. But, Noemi passed with flying colours.

Crawl this way
A study of Noemi’s crawl technique. She has one technique for “slippery ” floors and one when she has more friction. She ain’t stupid you know.

Dust your self off and try again
Noemi is really good at climbing. She is also pretty good at falling. But, she never gives up. “Climbing is a way of life”, she says. It is hard not to be inspired by the courage and heart of this young girl. She is an inspiration to us all.
Climb every mountain
Well, perhaps not … but the most recent progress is that Noemi is trying to climd just about anything; table, sofa, lamp, me, chair, box, carpet … well not carpet but just about everything that’s a little higher that the floor. Oh, and yes … but this is old news … she is crawling around on the floor in two ways; either a perfect on the knees and hands routine or a little more lazy version of dragging herself forward with her hands.
Pictures you say!? Yes, we have photos and video of this but this will have to come later. I’m posting from work.
See ya!
Noemi’s potato and broccoli puree with chicken
I made my first dish for Noemi today. We have been rather lazy and only bought pre-made jar’s for her. She does seem to like cauliflower and potatoes so I made the following recipe for her:
Noemi’s potato and broccoli puree with chicken
- 3 (rather) large potatoes
- 1 stem of broccoli
- 1/2 chicken filet
- 1-2 table spoons of rape (seed) oil
- 1 dl of cold water
Chop the potatoes and broccoli stem in small pieces. Boil the potatoes and after a while add the broccoli. When it’s a couple of minutes left add the chopped chicken (chicken will be made within 3 minutes in boiling water).
Remove all water. Put the potatoes, broccoli and chicken into a food processor. Add the rape oil and cold water and start to mix it. Puree it according to how big pieces you want.
Delicious!
