Earler today I signed up for my new job! I’m going to start working as a contractor (consultant) at a well renowned company in Gothenburg. I’m gonna become a .Net developer. So finally my Masters in Informatics (IT) will pay off! :w00t:
I’m very happy and see this as a chance I could not pass up. It’s with tears I leave my current employer and colleagues but all good things (aparently) come to an end. The Phantom is dead, long live the Phantom!
Yeah! I won the step count competition at work and got a gift certificate at Stadium to prove it! It was a tough competition and I acutally won due to my main competitor lost her step counter the last week. If she hadn’t done that she would have won. But, that’s the name of the game and I consider myself a worthy winner!
The company I work for was the best supplier of consultants to a big company last year, and the price was cash. All of us working in the team are going to meet at Landvetter in an hour to fly somewhere (in order to spend this money). We don’t know to where so it’s pretty exciting.
Amsterdam, Paris, who knows … I just hope it isn’t some kind of scam to meet at the airport and the go somewhere by bus.

Update
We flew to Stockholm. Not as exotic as Amsterdam or Paris so at first I was a little dissapointed, but it turned out to be a great evening. Mattias and I relaxed with a short stroll to Systembolaget (where you buy alcohol in Sweden) and then sweating it out in the hotel’s Sauna. After a few drinks (beer and Gin Tonic) we went to Wallmans Salonger and got excellent food and a great show. We ended the night at Golden Hits with lots and lots of dancing.
I got to bed after 2 am and my train left fot Gothenburg at 08.10 am so it was not much sleep for me. But, it was self inflicted so no complaints. :wink:
I got a step counter from work and we are now competing at work who walks the most steps in a month. I started to walk to and from work, instead of riding my bike. I am currently in third or perhaps second place. Wow! I just have to walk a little more. I am going to win, or at least try too.
