Visiting the wizard of Oz

Well, not really, but yeah.

 We are very bad at writing stories of our trip, but I guess it’s because we are having such a wonderful time and really can’t be bothered. But, anyway, we have been in Australia now for a while and here is what we have done (very roughly) so far.

 Before Autstralia though, we spent some time with Gift and her family in Bangkok, Thailand. We had a lovely proper Thai dinner with Gift’s husband and his family. We also went to markets for shopping.

No photos will be uploaded today because we have to many to choose from, but I hope we’ll be able to do it soon (sorry).

Melbourne:
We stayed at Emma’s and went to Ocean Road, had proper ozzie bbq, went wine tasting, and all-in-all had a terrrific time.

Sydney:
Stayed in Kings Cross, looked at Opera House, Mardi Gras Parade and party, Bondi, Coogee, Manley, Blue Mountains and loads of other stuff.

Brisbane:
So far we have hung out with Kristina and Michael, had dinner at Kristina’s mums place (yummy), and seen Surfers Paradise and Jumper. We have a couple of more days here and Michael and Kristina have it all worked out.

Let’s fly, let’s fly away

The company I work for was the best supplier of consultants to a big company last year, and the price was cash. All of us working in the team are going to meet at Landvetter in an hour to fly somewhere (in order to spend this money). We don’t know to where so it’s pretty exciting.

Amsterdam, Paris, who knows … I just hope it isn’t some kind of scam to meet at the airport and the go somewhere by bus.

Update
We flew to Stockholm. Not as exotic as Amsterdam or Paris so at first I was a little dissapointed, but it turned out to be a great evening. Mattias and I relaxed with a short stroll to Systembolaget (where you buy alcohol in Sweden) and then sweating it out in the hotel’s Sauna. After a few drinks (beer and Gin Tonic) we went to Wallmans Salonger and got excellent food and a great show. We ended the night at Golden Hits with lots and lots of dancing.

I got to bed after 2 am and my train left fot Gothenburg at 08.10 am so it was not much sleep for me. But, it was self inflicted so no complaints. :wink:
