The famlies came over for a small name giving party. Nothing fancy or anything, but dinner and cake. So, it is now official Noemi is named Noemi Olivia Löfman.
Thanks to everyone for all the lovely gifts!
Anna and Leah flew over from the emerald island to celebrate Christmas. We had your typical Swedish Christmas dinner, if in a somewhat abbriviated version food wise – concentrating only on the really good stuff. Then we also had the exchange of Christmas gifts. And the following arguments on who gets to play with what, and with whom – “tillsammans” was a word commonly used, although not practised that well.
It took me some time to get all the photos up on our site but finally here they are, all the photos from Christmas and New Years.
(Chiquita and) I did the main course of our New Years dinner. I started preparing it around 2 pm so that I only had to heat it and do the meat. It turned out very well, I think. At 5 pm we (Mattisa, Sofia and I) went to the Opera house to see the fireworks arranged by GP (the Gothenburg newspaper). After the fireworks we met all the others (including Chiquita) for some drinks a Jameson on the Avenue.
At Mattias and Sofia’s we had dinner and drinks and Champagne and such and then at 12 we went to Vasaparken to celebrate New Years. Chiquita and I managed to get a hold of a taxi (after much time) and went home around 2.30 am.
We had a wonderful New Years celebration.
